'Paradise'
Although 'Paradise', the entry by DCR's strategic partner Seven8 Media reached the final fifteen of the Movie Extra Webfest competition, it did not win.
But Seven8 Media and DCR will now proceed with the shooting of a TV pilot with a view to obtaining backing from one of the major networks for a TV series to be distributed in Australia and New Zealand. Stay tuned for more progress reports.
Property Management Coordinator appointed
As a direct result of DCR's dramatic growth over the past few years, the Principals have appointed Cliff McCarty as Property Management Coordinator for the business. Cliff will be responsible for managing the ongoing maintenance and repair of DCR's commercial and residential property portfolio. He brings to DCR a wealth of knowledge and experience in asset management having spent nearly 30 years as a specialist Technician in a major educational institution where he was also responsible for the management of a significant medical-related asset portfolio.
American Football World Championships
DCR's Media and Business Development Manager, Christian McCarty, has recently returned from the American Football World Championships in Austria where he represented his country with distinction. Although the Australian Team was unsuccessful, the players gave their all against the powerhouse nations like the USA and Mexico where Gridiron is the national football code. Congratulations to all the Australian players.
