It is a critical element of DCR's care model, that clients have ample opportunity to participate regularly in community activities.
Therefore, as an integral part of its care management planning process, Direct Care Resources provides people with a disability and children and young people in care with the necessary support and assistance to become participants in paid work, education and training programs, work, day programs, shopping, sporting clubs, regular visits with friends and family, cinema and similar amusement facilities.
Full supervision of clients on community access is provided by DCR care staff if required by Guardians or funding agencies.
