Direct Care Resources provides fully-staffed residential accommodation for:
- adults with a disability who choose not to or who are unable to live at home and who require continuing care and supervision
- children and young people in the care of the State
Care services and accommodation are also available for short and longer-term respite for families and foster carers.
Direct Care Resources has a range of residences for its clients located in Toowoomba, Brisbane, Ipswich and on the Gold Coast.
Direct Care Resources is usually able to respond immediately to requests for care and accommodation for emergency cases. Care can be provided at a staff/client ratio of 1:1 or on a ‘shared care’ basis depending on client needs and funding agency requirements.
